Soon it will be time to play bunco so make sure to SAVE THE DATE on May 8th at our regular Northend venue, Shawn O'Donnell's. Please RSVP! Also, we have our next Eastside meeting next Tuesday May 2nd so please RSVP for that meeting too. I have created a new event for our group and more information is below. It is on June 1st and it will be a fundraiser for the Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County. I have raised the prices of the Member of the Month feature and our Spotlight Tables in the Northend group. I have not received enough paid memberships to cover my expenses so there is still a discount if you are a paid member but just not as much as it was before. It really helps support our group if you pay your yearly dues. Many thanks to those of you who already paid! :) I will continue to create our meeting invites on Facebook on our business page because it is public and can more easily invite your friends. SAVE THE DATE - BUNCO ANNIVERSARY PARTY We just celebrated our 7th anniversary as Heart to Heart Networking and to celebrate, we are hosting a special networking meeting of brief introductions and then we will be playing bunco! We had a great response to last year's event that we decided to make it an annual event. You don't need to know how to play as we can teach you when you show up. It will be on a regularly scheduled NORTHEND meeting date of Monday May 8th @ 6:30pm. We will still have the buffet so please plan on purchasing dinner at this meeting. There is no cost to attend other than the buffet dinner as usual. If a member attends who hasn't paid their yearly dues, there will be a $5 cost for this meeting. NORTHEND SPECIAL SPEAKER Coming up next is Linda Deppa with Uncluttered Professional Organizing on June 12, 2017. She does personal and business organizing plus families too. Please let us know what organizing topics you want to hear her speak about the most. Finally, our last speaker scheduled for this year is Morgan Oaks (aka Dr. Mo) with An Evolution in Chiropractic on Oct 23, 2017. He recently had a TedX talk about "Learning the Language of Dude" where he shared his life story and experiences and how it allowed him to listen more deeply to himself and the world around him. We are still working out the details of the exact subject of his presentation so stay tuned! Do you have someone to recommend or a topic that you want to hear about? Let us know!  ADVENTURE OUTINGS Kim and Stephanie have stepped up to lead a monthly H2H Adventure Outing where we plan to meet and spend $30-40 per person on a fun activity or event. Some ideas that we have been tossing around were karaoke, a mani/pedi day at the spa, wine tasting, solve a puzzle room, etc. Send your ideas of fun activities to do to Kim or Stephanie. Is anyone interested in this movie as an outing? I might be able to get some free tickets. See the message below... My name is Becky and I'm writing to let you know about the upcoming release of A QUIET PASSION, a biographical drama depicting the life and work of Emily Dickinson (starring Cynthia Nixon), opening in Seattle at the Landmark Seven Gables Theatre on May 5. VIEW TRAILER I'd be thrilled if you could share information about the film's release to your members! If you're interested, I may be able to get a pair of tickets for you to give away. We took an informal poll at one of our NORTHEND meetings about who is interested in taking a self-defense class. We had a lot of interest so let us know if this is something you are interested in as well. Our next door neighbors at Active Martial Arts (Monica's daughter takes classes there) would love to put something together for us so we are just waiting to hear when and how much it will cost. We will be a pilot program for them so we just have to wait for them to get an instructor set up to help us out. This is getting close to having some dates that we can throw on the calendar soon! SPOTLIGHT TABLES - NORTHEND To have a table, you must have attended a meeting within the last 3 months. You will get 7 minutes to present about your business and/or passion. The cost for a Spotlight Table is $25 or $20 if you are a PAID MEMBER. If you want to sign up for a table, you will have to go online and sign up for a table. Right now, we have plenty of time to give everyone 2-3 minutes to talk about their business and have a roundtable discussion focused on a business topic.
