Heart to Heart Happenings Nov 2016 View this email in your browser Heart to Heart Happenings  November 2016 Hi Monica, I hope you can attend our next Eastside meeting as I won't be able to go because I will be in Cancun touring and reviewing properties for my clients. Kristina will be here and ready to see you! Also, two ladies from our group have stepped up to help the Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County. Please read more details on that below. Don't forget the deadline to nominate a member of our group for the Inspired Wisely Women Awards below. Please do so by Oct 31st! We have a plan for our next Adventure Outing so please read the details below and vote in our poll so we can plan for the best day to host it. Finally, I might end up with a slightly higher yearly dues fee because some people have said I need to charge more. I am thinking of $20 or $25 per year. The membership fee would cover both the Eastside and Northend meetings and it would not be a requirement to attend. Your ability to RSVP to our meetings will be disabled and if you want to participate in our other programs, it will cost more if you are not a paying member. My plan is to implement this Jan 1, 2017. REMINDER: Heart to Heart on Oct 24th View this email in your browser Heart to Heart Reminder October 24, 2016 Hi Monica, We had some great meetings in both the Eastside and Northend locations! It looks like the Family Pancake House in Redmond will be a great new home for our meetings and I am sorry that I will miss all the Nov Eastside meetings due to other obligations. Also, we had a great idea at our last Northend meeting but alas no one wrote it down for me so I forgot the details. It had something to do with donating to the Snohomish Domestic Services and possibly making it a yearly cause that we support. If someone can email me the details, that would be great! I am going to put more info down below about an exciting opportunity that has been offered to our group! Please make sure to read about the Inspired Wisely Women Awards below. Finally, I just want everyone to know I am about at my wits end with trying to generate money to keep this group operating. I have 5 people who signed up to do the Meetup Advertising but I only have information to publish 3 of them. It is a waste of my time and money to have my assistant chase people down for their information and/or money. At this point, I would rather implement a yearly dues structure to eliminate this hassle for me. It will probably be something like $10-15/yr so let me know how you feel about this. REMINDER: Heart to Heart on Oct 18th View this email in your browser Heart to Heart Reminder October 18, 2016 Hi Monica, Well, the news last week about Canyon's was bigger than we thought. It turns out that the restaurant is now closed so we had to find a new location. Many thanks to Kristina for quickly securing a new location that can accommodate us! I look forward to checking out the Family Pancake House in Redmond as our new home for the Eastside meetings. Also, I am going to do away with the Eventbrite invites as they made it difficult again to publish the event on Facebook. It is just too much maintainance for 2-3 RSVPs so at the end of this month, you will no longer be able to RSVP through Eventbrite. MEETUP: Redmond Meeting News!

You may have heard the sad news that the Canyon's in Redmond has closed for good. We thought it was just a temporary issue but obviously there was more of an issue than they originally let on. In any case, we needed to find a new location and Kristina has found our new home at the FAMILY PANCAKE HOUSE at 17621 Redmond Way, Redmond, WA 98052. Our meeting day and time has not changed ... just the location!

Heart to Heart Happenings October 2016 View this email in your browser Heart to Heart Happenings October 2016 Hi Monica, Sorry about the last minute notice about having to cancel our Eastside meeting on Tuesday but sometimes unexpected things happen that are out of our control. As far as we know, we are still on for our next meeting on Oct 18th but Kristina will advise us if there are any other changes. We don't have time to babysit people who sign up and don't pay so there are now some Spotlight Table openings. See the schedule below and sign up if you want a table! If you want to sign up for a table, you will have to go online and sign up for a table. Payment will be required within two weeks (or less) or your spot will be cancelled and opened up to someone else. I made a decision at our last Northend meeting to hold our holiday party at Shawn O'Donnell's since the poll was running exactly 50/50. We discussed how it will just be easier for everyone to keep the meeting location the same since it is a regular meeting date. Finally, I am going to do away with the Eventbrite invites as they made it difficult again to publish the event on Facebook.
