It turns out that the restaurant is now closed so we had to find a new location. Many thanks to Kristina for quickly securing a new location that can accommodate us! I look forward to checking out the Family Pancake House in Redmond as our new home for the Eastside meetings. Also, I am going to do away with the Eventbrite invites as they made it difficult again to publish the event on Facebook. It is just too much maintainance for 2-3 RSVPs so at the end of this month, you will no longer be able to RSVP through Eventbrite. It will be a regular meeting date but we will forgo our usual meeting format for a fun holiday party. Please bring a funny or unusual gift to this meeting. Please do NOT buy anything! You must bring something from your home that you want to get rid of. If you need ideas, please ask! We will start with very brief 15 second introductions, then draw numbers to pick presents and most of the meeting will be spent opening and stealing gifts.  NO MEETINGS We will NOT have a meeting for the Eastside group on Tuesday Dec 20th and we will NOT have a meeting for the Northend group on Monday Dec 26th. Monica and Kristina will be out of town for both of these dates and we figured people will want to spend time with their families for the holidays. We will resume our normal meeting schedule after the first of the year.  MEETUP ADVERTISING I am going to highlight two of our Meetup Sponsors each month in order to give them greater exposure. I noticed that the ads only show up on the desktop version of Meetup and I think most people use the app or the mobile version in a web browser which means these ads are probably not seen as much as I had hoped. I am raising the price for our next round of Meetup Sponsors starting in November. The price will increase from $35 to $49 for a 6 month advertising run. That works out to be a little over $8/month so it is still very reasonable advertising for your business. I will accept 6 sponsors for this offer. That means you will have at least two months where your ad will appear in our emails. These emails also get published to our Facebook page and website so there will be more chances for people to see your ads. I have ONE SPOT open so contact me if you are interested in this offer! MEMBER OF THE MONTH This is a new offer that I am starting! We are not using our website as much as we should so I would love to offer a "Member of the Month" where you will provide me with a blog post that we can put on our website. You will have the chance to highlight your business and tell us more about what you sell/offer. You can use 500-1200 words, up to 5 images, and unlimited text links. Content is subject to approval. This is great for SEO and will remain on the site indefinitely. Your blog post will also be shared on Facebook and highlighted in our monthly newsletter as well. As an introductory offer, I will start this program for just $35!  I have 4 people signed up so far and our first article was published in September! After that we will welcome back Nikki Rausch The Sales Maven who will speak to us on Mar 13th, 2017 about "Buying Signals". I had an overwhelming response to extend the time we give our speakers and everyone wanted to hear more from Nikki. At our next speaker event, we will do brief 15 second commercials in order to give them more time to give their presentation! Do you have someone to recommend or a topic that you want to hear about? Let us know!  EASTSIDE CHAPTER We will be changing to a twice a month format and changing the day of the week to every 1st & 3rd Tuesday. We meet at the Family Pancake House in Redmond and Kristina McCrady is leading that group. There will be 1 Spotlight Table at each meeting until attendance supports an additional one. The tables are $10 and you must attend a meeting to sign up. Kristina also plans on drawing for a free 3-minute commercial (Spotlight tables get 7 minutes and regular commercials are 1.5 minutes) so make sure you attend and get the lowdown on everything she has planned. MONTHLY ADVENTURE OUTINGS Kim and Stephanie have stepped up to lead a monthly H2H Adventure Outing where we plan to meet and spend $30-40 per person on a fun activity or event. Some ideas that we have been tossing around were karaoke, a mani/pedi day at the spa, wine tasting, solve a puzzle room, etc. Send your ideas of fun activities to do to Kim or Stephanie. SPOTLIGHT TABLES - NORTHEND To have a table, you must have attended a meeting within the last 3 months. You will get 7 minutes to present about your business and/or passion. The cost for a Spotlight Table is $25. If you want to sign up for a table, you will have to go online and sign up for a table.
