REMINDER: Heart to Heart on Oct 24th View this email in your browser Heart to Heart Reminder October 24, 2016 Hi Monica, We had some great meetings in both the Eastside and Northend locations! It looks like the Family Pancake House in Redmond will be a great new home for our meetings and I am sorry that I will miss all the Nov Eastside meetings due to other obligations. Also, we had a great idea at our last Northend meeting but alas no one wrote it down for me so I forgot the details. It had something to do with donating to the Snohomish Domestic Services and possibly making it a yearly cause that we support. If someone can email me the details, that would be great! I am going to put more info down below about an exciting opportunity that has been offered to our group! Please make sure to read about the Inspired Wisely Women Awards below. Finally, I just want everyone to know I am about at my wits end with trying to generate money to keep this group operating. I have 5 people who signed up to do the Meetup Advertising but I only have information to publish 3 of them. It is a waste of my time and money to have my assistant chase people down for their information and/or money. At this point, I would rather implement a yearly dues structure to eliminate this hassle for me. It will probably be something like $10-15/yr so let me know how you feel about this. EASTSIDE Nov 1st Meetup RSVP EASTSIDE Nov 15th Meetup RSVP Emily with Windermere Real Estate - There's No Place Like Home MORE INFO & NEWS SAVE THE DATE We will be hosting our annual White Elephant Gift Exchange Holiday Party on Monday Dec 12th, 2016! It will be a regular meeting date but we will forgo our usual meeting format for a fun holiday party. Please bring a funny or unusual gift to this meeting. Please do NOT buy anything! You must bring something from your home that you want to get rid of. If you need ideas, please ask! We will start with very brief 15 second introductions, then draw numbers to pick presents and most of the meeting will be spent opening and stealing gifts.  NO MEETINGS We will NOT have a meeting for the Eastside group on Tuesday Dec 20th and we will NOT have a meeting for the Northend group on Monday Dec 26th. Monica and Kristina will be out of town for both of these dates and we figured people will want to spend time with their families for the holidays. We will resume our normal meeting schedule after the first of the year.  MEMBER OF THE MONTH This is a new offer that I am starting! We are not using our website as much as we should so I would love to offer a "Member of the Month" where you will provide me with a blog post that we can put on our website. You will have the chance to highlight your business and tell us more about what you sell/offer. You can use 500-1200 words, up to 5 images, and unlimited text links. Content is subject to approval. This is great for SEO and will remain on the site indefinitely. Your blog post will also be shared on Facebook and highlighted in our monthly newsletter as well. As an introductory offer, I will start this program for just $35!  I have 4 people signed up so far and our first article was published in September! Our next speaker is Nicole Lux Ritchie with Luxcentric on Jan 23rd, 2017 and her talk is about productivity with "Inbox Zero". After that we will welcome back Nikki Rausch The Sales Maven who will speak to us on Mar 13th, 2017 about "Buying Signals". I had an overwhelming response to extend the time we give our speakers and everyone wanted to hear more from Nikki. At our next speaker event, we will do brief 15 second commercials in order to give them more time to give their presentation! Do you have someone to recommend or a topic that you want to hear about? Let us know!  MONTHLY ADVENTURE OUTINGS Kim and Stephanie have stepped up to lead a monthly H2H Adventure Outing where we plan to meet and spend $30-40 per person on a fun activity or event. Some ideas that we have been tossing around were karaoke, a mani/pedi day at the spa, wine tasting, solve a puzzle room, etc. Send your ideas of fun activities to do to Kim or Stephanie. SPOTLIGHT TABLES - NORTHEND To have a table, you must have attended a meeting within the last 3 months. You will get 7 minutes to present about your business and/or passion. The cost for a Spotlight Table is $25. If you want to sign up for a table, you will have to go online and sign up for a table. The tables are $10 and you must attend a meeting to sign up.
