WHO IS KATHRYN MILLER AND THE MILLER CONNECTION

Take 35 years of experience in the world of health insurance and a lifetime of wanting to educate
people on affordable ways to take care of themselves, add in a lot of passion to find creative options and then stir together. Now you know a little bit about Kathy Miller and The Miller Connection.

I am best known as Kathy or Kat and have been in the insurance business for over 35 years I started my career with Safeco Life, now known as Liberty Mutual. After 5 years I was given the opportunity to work for a health insurance broker and launched my career as a licensed health insurance agent. After receiving extensive training in the self-funding market and healthcare benefits I began working with agents who needed help developing and maintaining their book of business.

I opened my own agency in 2010 so I could provide my clients hands on service. I meet with them at their convenience and dedicate the time necessary to educate, not sell, the products the client is asking about. I present products I truly believes in and with a passion. It is important that my clients are shown and enrolled only on options that meet their needs, not my pocket book.

My product offerings Include:
· Employer offered healthcare benefits such as medical, dental
· Senior products for 65 and over, plus the under age 65 Social Security disable

I try to keep up to date on current issues and pass the information to my clients.

Recently I added a new venture to my portfolio that I am very excited about. Directed towards women (Sorry guys. We aren’t leaving you out). I hold educational workshops, once a month, called “Wine, Women and Wealth”. I am the first in the Pacific Northwest to conduct these workshops and they have been very successful.

It would be my pleasure to add you as a client. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have.

Heart to Heart Reminder

May 2, 2017

Hi Monica,

Guess what! Soon it will be time to play bunco so make sure to SAVE THE DATE on May 8th at our regular Northend venue, Shawn O'Donnell's. Please RSVP! Also, we have our next Eastside meeting next Tuesday May 2nd so please RSVP for that meeting too.

I have created a new event for our group and more information is below. It is on June 1st and it will be a fundraiser for the Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County.

I have raised the prices of the Member of the Month feature and our Spotlight Tables in the Northend group. I have not received enough paid memberships to cover my expenses so there is still a discount if you are a paid member but just not as much as it was before. It really helps support our group if you pay your yearly dues. Many thanks to those of you who already paid! :)

I will continue to create our meeting invites on Facebook on our business page because it is public and can more easily invite your friends. I am keeping the group around to see if we can share things more easily between the members. Let me know what you think! Please join it and participate! https://www.facebook.com/groups/h2hwomen/

NEW! This page has been moved to:

The Pampered Chef LTD has been the business that changed Eileen’s life. On January 4th 1998, Eileen joined the Pampered Chef to bridge a gap in finances. Nineteen years later, it is still changing lives, including hers.

Eileen has been a consultant consistently over all these years having almost 2,100 shows – live and on-line. She has been bringing real solutions to family mealtime. As a dietitian, her expertise goes beyond the tools to the nutrition.  The emphasis from The Pampered Chef is to meet the needs of the population.  Currently on trend are fresh, healthy and fast foods, at home as family meals. The new mission statement for 2017 is “Making Memories One Meal at a Time”. Eating in community is important and at The Pampered Chef it is embraced. Bringing people together to enjoy each other and great food is key.

Working as a Registered Dietitian and going through a budget cut, Eileen was looking for a short-time fix to a need for income. Both boys were at home. Jared 15 in high school and playing basketball – eating them out of house and home. Justin 20 was working but still finding his way and relying on mom and dad for help. Her husband Ben is self-employed and had decided to dabble in art. ANYWAY, the gap needed to be bridged. She loved with process of cooking shows, and eventually the addition of computers to the business changed things even more. Now virtual shows are a popular option.

Heart to Heart Reminder

April 24th, 2017

Hi Monica,

I am glad to be back in town and I have missed seeing you ladies! I have missed the last few meetings due to my travel schedule and the Eastside meeting was cancelled last week due to a family issue that Kristina had. I hope to see you at tomorrow's meeting!

I decided to give it a shot and created (or rather I took over a group) a Facebook group for us. I will keep the business page around for a while but I will be moving more activities to the group instead. FB invites will be done through the group, event sharing and sales posts will be in the group now. Please join it and participate! https://www.facebook.com/groups/h2hwomen/

Heart to Heart Reminder

April 18th, 2017

Hi Monica,

I am on vacation but I am working, working, working! Clients always seem to need me when I am away but it is a good thing that I can work as long as I have internet and I have the support of my office as well. Also, I figured I better get this newsletter out while I am at my computer.

I have been toying with the idea of getting rid of our Facebook page and turning it into a Facebook Group instead. It will take a bit of work to get it set up and running as I need some volunteers to help me admin/moderate the group but I think it will be more community building and easier to share things between the members. Let me know what you think!
