Heart to Heart Meeting Reminders for the month of September HEART TO HEART MONTHLY NEWSLETTER For September 2018 Hi Monica,  Welcome to September! Kids are going back to school and the weather will start to change as well. Today it still feels like summer so I am okay with the nice weather. Here is the recent news (that I can remember) for our group. See you soon at one of our meetings! We have a speaker at our next meeting on Sept 10th so please RSVP so we can have an accurate headcount. It is very helpful to RSVP to any meeting you are planning on attending.  Let me know how you feel about these newsletters on a monthly basis. I might have to start keeping a list of things I want to talk about every month as I tend to forget what we discussed at each meeting when I only do this once a month.  At our last meeting, we discussed a plan for our holiday party which we normally hold on the 2nd Monday in December and we skip the 4th Monday in December for the holiday. I will be in Tahiti on Dec 10th so I wanted to move the party to another meeting day. Someone had a brilliant idea to push it out to the 2nd Monday in January instead of November so that is what we will do! We have our calendar open until the end of November so keep an eye out for the holiday party in January! ~Monica~ FEATURED MEMBER Sign Up SPOTLIGHT TABLE Sign Up VENUE UPDATES We select a member who has paid their dues to change the menu for the buffet every quarter. I randomly selected a member from the people who have paid their dues through June 30th and our winner was Deborah Lobe again! She picked a BBQ chicken menu for the last meeting in August. I will select another winner from our members who paid their dues through Sept 30th so stay tuned for that announcement later. FEATURED MEMBER In order to utilize our website more, we have decided to offer a "Featured Member". You provide us with an article about you and your business that we can publish on our website. You can use 500-1200 words, up to 5 images, and unlimited text links. Content is subject to approval. This is great for SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and will remain on the site indefinitely. Your article will also be shared on Facebook, highlighted in our monthly newsletter and highlighted on the homepage of our website as well. You can write your own article for just $35 or $20 if you paid your yearly dues! RSVP for our Speaker Event on September 10th! ADVENTURE OUTINGS This fun idea will now be taken over by the Secret Travel Society! Kim and Stephanie had a great idea but they don't have time to plan fun events for our group. The idea was to have a monthly H2H Adventure Outing where we meet up and spend $30-40 per person on a fun activity or event. There is some talk right now about putting together a group for the new Teatro ZinZanni show which is moving to Woodinville this November. Once we get some dates figured out, we will let you know! Most of our social events you can find on the Secret Travel Society calendar.
