Hi Monica,
Happy Memorial Day! I am taking some time out of my vacation to crank out a newsletter. The network here is a bit slow so I will keep it short and sweet. Follow my adventures at Monica, Your Travel Gal.
I also have a spotlight table open for June 13th so unless you want to hear me talk about travel again, sign up for a table! :)
Just a reminder that you have been added to our mailing list because you have attended one of our meetings AND you are NOT a member of our Meetup group. If you are getting our messages in both places and would rather just get it in one, please unsubscribe to the duplicate mailing. I don't want to spam anyone and we make a point of mentioning this at every meeting so I am just trying to be mindful of our rules. :)

NEWS
SPECIAL SPEAKER
We had great feedback from our first speaker so I am continuing to add speakers to our meetings. The next one is Monty K. Reed with Thrive and I have known him for many years. His story is very inspirational and he has a talk about "Let Them Buy Retail" where he tells people it is okay to NOT discount your products or services. I see many women who do this so I think this will be a very helpful topic. He will be our speaker on JUNE 27th (which is my birthday!) so make sure to invite a friend or anyone you think will benefit from this issue.
Also, another topic that people wanted to learn about was increasing your sales. I am very excited to announce our next special speaker event on Aug 22nd with Nikki Rausch The Sales Maven so SAVE THE DATE!
EASTSIDE CHAPTER
For our Eastside chapter, we will meet every 1st Thursday at Canyons in Redmond and Kristina McCrady will be leading that group. We will only have the meetings once a month until higher attendance warrants a twice a month format. She will also only have 1 Spotlight Table until attendance supports an additional one. The tables are $10 and you must attend a meeting to sign up. She also plans on drawing for a free 3-minute commercial (Spotlight tables get 7 minutes and regular commercials are 1.5 minutes) so make sure you attend and get the lowdown on everything she has planned.
MONTHLY ADVENTURE OUTINGS
Kim Pelham has also stepped up to lead a monthly H2H Adventure Outing where we plan to meet and spend $30-40 per person on a fun activity or event. Some ideas that we have been tossing around were karaoke, a mani/pedi day at the spa, wine tasting, solve a puzzle room, etc. Send your ideas of fun activities to do to Kim or let her know if you want to sign up for her mailing list. Look for the next outing to be added to our Meetup page soon!
VEGAS ENTRY FORMS
I have decided to do away with the paper entry forms so if you want to enter to win the trip to Vegas when you attend one of our meetings, you will need to fill out a short form on my tablet. Please do this when you arrive at the meeting or after our last spotlight presentation.

SPOTLIGHT TABLES - NORTHEND
To have a table, you must have attended a meeting within the last 3 months. You will get 7 minutes to present about your business and/or passion. The cost for a Spotlight Table is $20. Here is the schedule for the upcoming months:
