MEETUP: Tueday, January 3 Meet-up

Hello Folks!

With the holidays and busy time of year, I know RSVPing for a meeting takes low priority, as it should!

I am trying to see if we should hold a meeting in a week on Jan 3rd, or wait until the Jan 17th, since Monday an 2nd is a holiday.

Personally, I am up for a meeting!

Be sure to check out the photos shared on Meetup and our Facebook page. If you have photos to share with us, please do so! :) I am getting ready to leave tomorrow for my vacation and vow renewal/wedding in Maui so please follow my adventures on my Facebook page, Monica, Your Travel Gal. IMPORTANT: If you are interested in attending our next H2H Adventure Outing at the Sing-Along to the Sound of Music, please contact Kim Pelham ASAP or RSVP on Meetup as she needs to purchase the tickets or cancel the outing. It is scheduled for Sunday January 8th at 1:30pm and we need 10 people to attend to make this event happen. You can invite your friends, kids, etc. to this event! Also, a reminder that the venue at Shawn O'Donnell's has some changes coming up in the new year. Starting in January, the cost for the buffet will now be $18 and that includes your meal, dessert, a non-alcoholic beverage, tax and tip. They also will no longer be able to accommodate us ordering off the regular menu unless it is a dietary necessity. We will now have a standard meal at every meeting which will be a salad bar with grilled chicken. You will be able to build your own meal and there will be a pasta salad, fruit salad and cookies as well. I had very good feedback from our last meeting so please let me know if this will be an issue for anyone moving forward. Please support our venue by purchasing the buffet when you attend! We had a suggestion offered at the last meeting and that was to change the menu for the buffet every quarter and I decided that was a great idea. I will draw a name from one of our paying members to pick the dinner selection in March! Please don't buy anything and instead find something in your home that you no longer want or need. It can be funny, silly, useless, whatever. If you have to buy something, please don't spend more than $10 on the item. MEETUP: Holiday Party at the Eastside Meeting tomorrow!

Hello,

I would love for you to come tomorrow to the Holiday Party at Family Pancake House in Redmond. This is a great opportunity to take a break from the business, and relax with a glass of wine, a good meal, a cup of tea, and laughter with many women.

Bring a recycled gift for a White Elephant Gift Exchange!  If you do not have a recycle, the budget is $5.00. Saturday, I spent the morning making neck wraps, so I will bring some to give away!

Heart to Heart Happenings Dec 2016 View this email in your browser Heart to Heart Happenings December 2016 Hi Monica, Lots of people are planning their travel so I am ending my month really strong and it makes it easier to take time off for the holidays. Usually, December is a slow time of year for me and then things pick up again after the holidays. I am getting ready to close my business from Dec 15th to Jan 6th so I can take a much needed and necessary holiday with my family about about 30 friends and family as well. It is a vacation and my husband and I are renewing our vows on Maui to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Just a few reminders... RSVP for our next Adventure Outing in January!  I enabled the membership dues on Meetup because people kept asking me how to pay. There are benefits of membership so read about the Membership Dues & Perks information on our website.  Don't forget to come to our annual White Elephant Gift Exchange on Dec 12th! Finally, we need some feedback from the Eastside members. Attendance has been lacking and we have had several no shows recently which means our usual number of 12 attending dip as low as 2 some nights. Is there a reason for this? Location? Traffic? Day we have the meeting? We might have to scale back to once a month if attendance continues to be so low. MEETUP: Heart to Heart Women's Networking is now charging membership dues

Hi Members,

Heart to Heart Women's Networking has started charging $25.00/year to cover costs of running this Meetup. You will have 180 days to pay your dues and after that you will no longer be able to RSVP to our meetings. You can still attend without paying the dues but then please RSVP on Facebook instead.

We are charging dues so we can:

• Cover Meetup costs
• Encourage more engaged members
• Have a reserve fund
• Provide supplies or equipment
• Improve Meetups

You can pay online here. Once you sign up for dues, you will be automatically billed each year. You will always be reminded before each charge, and you can cancel your dues at any time.

MEETUP: Please RSVP if you can attend Monday's meeting!

Our RSVPs are really low for tomorrow's meeting so if you are planning on attending, please RSVP! I know we are coming off a holiday weekend but it will be our last regular meeting this year. Plus, Stephanie Civey who is the Special Events, Marketing & Volunteer Coordinator from Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County will be attending to thank us personally and also pick up the donations we have collected for her group. It is not too late to bring a nice gift for the moms so the kids can "shop" for the holidays and give their mom a special gift.
