It was very low key for our family this year as we decided to head to the Olympic Peninsula for a short stay-cation. It was a really nice week to spend at Discovery Bay and I have so many photos still to post on my Facebook page! Don't forget we have a great networking social at the end of the month but I need at least 15 people to RSVP by July 14th or this event will be cancelled. All money will be refunded if that happens. Just a reminder that our Eastside group is on hold this summer. Starting on March 7, we will be meeting at Café Veloce in Kirkland, just off of I-405 in Totem Lake. It is just off Totem Lake Boulevard, so hopefully will be very easy to come to. NORTHEND QUARTLY SPEAKER Our last speaker scheduled for this year is Morgan Oaks (aka Dr. Mo) with An Evolution in Chiropractic on Oct 23, 2017. He recently had a TedX talk about "Learning the Language of Dude" where he shared his life story and experiences and how it allowed him to listen more deeply to himself and the world around him. Let us know!    JUNE 12th SPEAKER SURVEY To ensure I am bringing speakers in you want to hear from, I'd appreciate you taking this survey about our last speaker on June 12th.  ADVENTURE OUTINGS Kim and Stephanie have stepped up to lead a monthly H2H Adventure Outing where we plan to meet and spend $30-40 per person on a fun activity or event. Some ideas that we have been tossing around were karaoke, a mani/pedi day at the spa, wine tasting, solve a puzzle room, etc. Send your ideas of fun activities to do to Kim or Stephanie. We apologize for the miscommunication last month on the Karaoke event at InSpark. Tracey didn't realize that we had just talked about the event at our meeting on Monday and since she didn't see anyone RSVP, she cancelled the event. In the future, we will be more clear about when you need to RSVP to ensure the event will happen.  STORM SUITE CO-NETWORKING WITH BAM I have decided to join forces with the Business Among Moms group and have a fun networking event and social all rolled into one. The game is on Friday July 28th at 7pm and the cost is $40 (or $35 if you are a paid member). I need 15 people signed up by July 14th in order to make this event happen. If the event is cancelled, all money will be refunded. We will have a private suite where you can watch the game or just enjoy the networking and socializing. Light appetizers will also be provided as well as a private VIP entrance to the game. Other food and drink options are available at your own expense. I have a free parking pass which I will give to someone who agrees to carpool and bring attendees. We can only have 20 people attend so if you are interested, please buy a ticket now.
