Hi Monica,
Well, our last meeting at the Northend location was a bit of a surprise. I probably screwed up but this is what happens when people don't communicate in writing with me. Our meeting room was double booked so we had to have our meeting upstairs in the main restaurant. We made lemonade out of lemons and I was actually really pleased with how it turned out. It was too loud to have Spotlight Tables or our regular 1 minute commercials so we just had focused discussions at each of our tables to find out more about each other's business.
Because of this little mistake, I had to reschedule our speakers because otherwise I would have had to have our Spotlight Tables pushed out until after the new year. Please see the schedule below for the updates.
There are also going to be some changes with the Spotlight Tables. First, I have Deb Everhart helping me with managing this task. Also, I am going to start having people sign up for a table online and payment will be required within two weeks or your spot will be cancelled and opened up to someone else.
I have made a decision to hire an Assistant to help me with the various tasks that no one signed up to help me with. They will assist me with writing this newsletter 2x a month, managing the Meetup Sponsors/Advertisers, and managing the Members of the Month on our website. I will be transitioning these tasks over the next few weeks so it will be super important that you send any Heart to Heart related emails to monica@hearttoheartnetworking.com as someone else will be helping me manage the requests I get about our group.

SAVE THE DATE
We will be hosting our annual White Elephant Gift Exchange Holiday Party on Monday Dec 12th, 2016! It will be a regular meeting date but we will forgo our usual meeting format for a fun holiday party. Please bring a funny or unusual gift to this meeting. Please do NOT buy anything! You must bring something from your home that you want to get rid of. If you need ideas, please ask! We will start with very brief 15 second introductions, then draw numbers to pick presents and most of the meeting will be spent opening and stealing gifts. Where should we have our party? Please VOTE! |

NO MEETINGS
We will NOT have a meeting for the Eastside group on Tuesday Dec 20th and we will NOT have a meeting for the Northend group on Monday Dec 26th. Monica and Kristina will be out of town for both of these dates and we figured people will want to spend time with their families for the holidays. We will resume our normal meeting schedule after the first of the year. |

MEETUP ADVERTISING
You might have noticed above some new ads in our email. I am going to highlight two of our Meetup Sponsors each month in order to give them greater exposure. I noticed that the ads only show up on the desktop version of Meetup and I think most people use the app or the mobile version in a web browser which means these ads are probably not seen as much as I had hoped.
I am raising the price for our next round of Meetup Sponsors starting in November. The price will increase from $35 to $49 for a 6 month advertising run. That works out to be a little over $8/month so it is still very reasonable advertising for your business. I will accept 6 sponsors for this offer. That means you will have at least two months where your ad will appear in our emails. These emails also get published to our Facebook page and website so there will be more chances for people to see your ads. I have ONE SPOT open so contact me if you are interested in this offer! |

NORTHEND SPOTLIGHT TABLES
I am increasing the price of our Spotlight Tables where you get 7 minutes to present about your business and you can also set up a table to display/sell your products/services. Starting in November, the price will increase from $20 to $25 per table. See the list below for who is signed up through the end of the year. All tables are spoken for until the end of the year so let me know if you want to sign up after the new year! |

MEMBER OF THE MONTH
This is a new offer that I am starting! We are not using our website as much as we should so I would love to offer a "Member of the Month" where you will pay $49 and you will provide me with a blog post that we can put on our website. You will have the chance to highlight your business and tell us more about what you sell/offer. You can use 500-1200 words, up to 5 images, and unlimited text links. Content is subject to approval. This is great for SEO and will remain on the site indefinitely. Your blog post will also be shared on Facebook and highlighted in our monthly newsletter as well.
I have 4 people signed up so far and will hopefully have the first article published in October. As an introductory offer, I will start this program for just $35! You can see my post for an example of what I am talking about. |

NORTHEND SPECIAL SPEAKER
As I mentioned above, I had to move our speakers out to 2017. Please SAVE THE DATE! Our next speaker is Nicole Lux Ritchie with Luxcentric on Jan 23rd, 2017 and her talk is about "Inbox Zero". After that we will welcome back Nikki Rausch The Sales Maven who will speak to us again about "Buying Signals". I had an overwhelming response to extend the time we give our speakers and everyone wanted to hear more from Nikki. At our next speaker event, we will do brief 20 second commercials in order to give them more time to give their presentation!

EASTSIDE CHAPTER
We will be changing to a twice a month format and changing the day of the week to every 1st & 3rd Tuesday. We still meet at the same location at Canyons in Redmond and Kristina McCrady is leading that group. There will be 1 Spotlight Table at each meeting until attendance supports an additional one. The tables are $10 and you must attend a meeting to sign up. Kristina also plans on drawing for a free 3-minute commercial (Spotlight tables get 7 minutes and regular commercials are 1.5 minutes) so make sure you attend and get the lowdown on everything she has planned. |

MONTHLY ADVENTURE OUTINGS
Kim and Stephanie have stepped up to lead a monthly H2H Adventure Outing where we plan to meet and spend $30-40 per person on a fun activity or event. Some ideas that we have been tossing around were karaoke, a mani/pedi day at the spa, wine tasting, solve a puzzle room, etc. Send your ideas of fun activities to do to Kim or Stephanie. |
