NEW CHANGES & UPDATES
We have had a lot of changes this year so here is a quick summary of what is going on:
- Spotlight Tables now cost $20 and is now a perk only available for paid members. You also get 8-minutes to present.
- Featured Members are now $55/year and is an upgraded membership plan.
- No more Vegas drawing at our meetings! Instead we offer a 20% discount on your Travel Consultation Fee. (Only for paid members)
- There will be a $5 cost to attend special meetings like our Anniversary Party, Holiday Party and when we have Speakers. If you are a paid member, your entry is free! If you do not RSVP ahead of time, there will be an additional $5 charge at the door.
- I will re-evaluate the membership dues amount in December as I am currently losing money on memberships.
- Free Memberships will now renew every 6-months so you will have to log into your account once every 6-months to continue being a free member. I have to pay for every email in our database so this will help me remove anyone who no longer is interested in attending our meetings.
- I updated the RSVP options on the website so now there is only one event with two options to RSVP. One option is to attend our meeting and the second one is to pay for a Spotlight Table.
MEMBER APP
Don't forget that there is a mobile app that you can download and install on your phone that might make it easier for people to RSVP. There are various things you can do with the app like:
- Viewing/editing your profile (it will show when you are due for renewal)
- Contact other members (if they made their info available to see)
- See list of events
- RSVP/Pay for events
- See the list of events you have RSVP'd to
- MORE!

VENUE UPDATES
We had a suggestion offered and that was to change the menu for the buffet every quarter. I haven't heard from the winner I picked in March so I don't feel like this is something that people are interested in anymore. Also, the venue seems to change up the menu now and again. Plus, I feel like we have enough other perks than to manage this anymore. Let me know if you feel otherwise!
FEATURED MEMBER
In order to utilize our website more, we have decided to offer a "Featured Member". You provide us with an article about you and your business that we can publish on our website. You can use 500-1200 words, up to 5 images, and unlimited text links. Content is subject to approval. This is great for SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and will remain on the site indefinitely. Your article will also be shared on Facebook, highlighted in our monthly newsletter and highlighted on the homepage of our website as well. You can write your own article by
upgrading your membership to just
$55/year!
ADVENTURE OUTINGS
Kim and Stephanie had a great idea but they don't have time to plan fun events for our group. The idea was to have a monthly H2H Adventure Outing where we meet up and spend $30-40 per person on a fun activity or event. On occasion, we will post something on our calendar but often we have last minute plans and those appear on Facebook.
Right now, there was talk about a play in Everett at the end of July. Kim collected email addresses of people who are interested to see which date works best. Cost is $15 and the play seems to be some sort of murder mystery. Please contact Kim if you are interested in this event.
With Andrea in Vegas, we are taking a break with the Secret Travel Society so if you have an idea for a fun event for the ladies, please reach out. We have had several ladies have things that they have shared at the last minute on our
Facebook Group so make sure to keep an eye out there.
