Hi Monica,

Please make sure to RSVP for our meeting on Monday. We have a speaker coming and we need to know how many are coming so she can prepare enough materials for everyone. We will be working on stuff! You can RSVP on Meetup or I prefer that you start to RSVP on our new website.

Speaking of our new website, I have moved the domain over so you can access it via www.hearttoheartnetworking.com. If you are a paid member, you just need to log in to your account and RSVP. You can sign up for a Guest Membership on the website to stay in touch with us without having to pay dues. I will be moving people over from this MailChimp list if to our website so the sooner that you sign up to be a Guest Member the better. I will be phasing out these newsletters on MailChimp and move our announcements to our website. Also, it will be much easier to RSVP to our events if you are a H2H Member or Guest Member.

The website does a much better job of handling event announcements and invites so it will make this newsletter mostly unnecessary. I foresee that our newsletters will only be announcements about special events or changes to our group and less about reminding you to RSVP.

Finally, if you want to sign up to be a Featured Member or for a Spotlight Table, you must do so on our website.

MEETUP CHANGES

We are no longer collecting dues on Meetup. You are welcome to continue to be a meetup member and RSVP for our meetings through that website but in order to access the perks of membership, it will be required to use our website.

VENUE UPDATES

NORTHEND
We had a suggestion offered and that was to change the menu for the buffet every quarter. Thank you to MICHELE WHITTINGTON who selected our last menu and I will select another winner from the people who have paid their dues through Mar 31st and I will announce the winner after that date.

EASTSIDE
ON HOLD! The Eastside chapter, has struggled to get enough people to attend on a regular basis. If you are interested in making this chapter work, please email us with your feedback, ideas, etc. We are going to need 5-10 people to step up and help lead this group and promote it to others. Without this, we will have to close this chapter.

FEATURED MEMBER

In order to utilize our website more, we have decided to offer a "Featured Member". You provide us with an article about you and your business that we can publish on our website. You can use 500-1200 words, up to 5 images, and unlimited text links. Content is subject to approval. This is great for SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and will remain on the site indefinitely. Your blog post will also be shared on Facebook, highlighted in our monthly newsletter and highlighted on the homepage of our website as well. You can write your own article for just $35 or $20 if you paid your yearly dues!

Please note that we are in the process of moving our Featured Members over to the new website. There will be a link from the old website (Blogger) to the new one and I suggest you update any links that point to the old articles.

ADVENTURE OUTINGS

This fun idea will now be taken over by the Secret Travel Society! Kim and Stephanie had a great idea but they don't have time to plan fun events for our group. The idea was to have a monthly H2H Adventure Outing where we meet up and spend $30-40 per person on a fun activity or event.

There are a few events that appeared on our calendar in March. One has already past but there is another H2H Adventure in Vashon on March 25th.

Most of our social events you can find on the Secret Travel Society calendar. We have a free membership that you can join for limited access to our social calendar or you can pay a small monthly fee to be a VIP member which has full access to the calendar plus special MEMBER ONLY perks, gifts, discounts and more.

Our next planned event is our March Social Mixer (happy hour) in Northgate on Tues Mar 20th and our March Dinner Mixer in Edmonds on March 30th.

SPOTLIGHT TABLES - NORTHEND

To have a table, you must have attended a meeting within the last 3 months. You will get 7 minutes to present about your business and/or passion. The cost for a Spotlight Table is $25 or $15 if you have paid your membership dues. If you want to sign up for a table, you will have to go online and sign up for a table. If payment is not received within one week, your spot will be cancelled, and all money will be refunded. Here is the schedule for the upcoming months:
