We have been lucky to participate for the 2nd year at the WISE Women Inspired Wisely Awards Ceremony on Jan 18, 2018 at the Lynnwood Convention Center. Our official anniversary is January 4th so think of us in a few days. We will celebrate later this spring with a fun game of bunco so stay tuned for a date to appear on our calendar. I am still in Sweden and wrapping up our time here with family. I will be back home on the 6th but recovering from jet lag. It has been a great holiday and lots of snow here. About Amanda: Two years ago this month, I took a huge leap of faith and joined Rodan + Fields! A fantastic skin care line created by Katie Rodan and Kathy Fields, the creators of Proactiv. I had never sold anything before and frankly I was terrified but the opportunity sounded too great to pass up just because I was scared. As I look over my two years, I am in awe of where it has taken me, both professionally and the growth I’ve experienced personally.

Prior to joining Rodan + Fields, I was an elementary music teacher and worked in the Snohomish and Shoreline Districts teaching general music, beginning band and choir. I have a strong love of choral music and participate in that as much as I can. I was with the Seattle Choral Company for 11 years and had some amazing experiences with this choir. My love of music has taken me on some incredible adventures! I’ve had the privilege of singing with Josh Groban, under Marvin Hamlisch and traveling internationally. Now I am taking some time off from music to focus on my family and my thriving business.

Heart to Heart Reminder Dec 11th View this email in your browser Heart to Heart Reminder December 11, 2017 Hi Monica, Don't forget to bring gift items for moms for the Snohomish County Domestic Violence Services. Our last collection date will be Dec 11th which is our holiday party. Just like last year, we supported them with new and gently used items for the kids to go "shopping" for their moms for the holidays. Speaking of our holiday party, we are also having our annual White Elephant Gift Exchange as well. It is optional to attend and participate so if you don't like to have fun or receive funny gag gifts, then skip this meeting. Make sure you bring an unwanted, funny, silly, weird item from your home and wrap it for gift giving. Please do not purchase anything for this gift unless you have to. Make sure you don't spend more than $10 on the gift if you have to buy something. We will have brief introductions and most of the meeting will be spent opening/stealing gifts. I also updated the process for signing up for a Spotlight Table and Member of the Month as you will now be required to pay at the time of scheduling. This will eliminate the hassle of what happens when people pay for a table but don't reserve the time on the calendar. It creates a lot more work so I am attempting to streamline the process.
